Location: Canton Zurich (Hybrid work model possible)



We've partnered with one of the leading universities in Switzerland to find a Senior System Engineer - Windows who is ready to make a real impact in a forward-thinking, agile ICT environment.



Your Mission

* Operate and evolve a modern Windows Server infrastructure
* Automate server provisioning (focus on Windows)
* Manage and enhance Veeam backup systems
* Advance infrastructure automation (SaltStack, PowerShell, etc.)
* Assist in the setup of Windows server roles/features and third-party tools
* Collaborate closely with agile ICT teams and internal stakeholders



What You Bring

* Recognized IT qualification (FH, HF, FA, EFZ, or equivalent)
* Experience with hybrid infrastructures (network, virtualization, storage)
* Deep Windows Server knowledge (features, roles, scripting)
* Strong PowerShell skills; Linux/Bash/Python is a plus
* Familiarity with datacenter networking (VLAN, DNS, firewalls)
* Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, and Azure is an advantage
* A collaborative mindset, service-oriented thinking, and experience in agile environments (SAFe, Scrum, etc.)
* Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
