Work Wales are currently working with a growing local manufacturer to recruit a SMT Product Technician to join their growing team.



Job Description

Our client have invested in the latest SMT production equipment to enhance its manufacturing capability. They have an exciting opportunity for an SMT Technician. The Surface Mount Operator will work within the Surface Mount Printed Circuit Board production team to produce high quality Surface Mount PCBs for their products.



Key Responsibilities:

* Surface Mount PCB soldering (Essential)
* Through Hole PCB soldering
* Loading / Unloading automated SMT production Line
* Loading / Unloading AOI machine
* Depaneling of populated PCBs
* PCB Testing
* PCB Inspection



Pay Rate: £10.42 per hour

Hours of Work: 8:00am - 4:30pm Mon - Fri



Experience & Qualifications required:

*Surface Mount Soldering (Essential)

*Working in SMT production, or electronics manufacturing for at least 1 year

*Soldering of Through Hole Components

*Knowledge of SMT Production machines e.g. Solder screen printer, Pick and Place Machines (desirable)

*IPC A 610 knowledge / training (Desirable)
