Job Title: Soft Service Manager

Location:  Castle Quay Banbury

Pay Rate:  £32,000 per annum

Hours: 45 per week

Where you will be located: Castle Quay Shopping centre in centre of Banbury next to Oxford Canal with over 80 retailers also an exciting new  Leisure Development of restaurants and a cinema opening in spring  2022, the excellent Lock 29 facilities with a vibrant night time economy, with amazing washroom facilities with changing places for our disabled guests.

Your job will include: 

Operational management of a 25+ team of site-based operatives across many areas of service including cleaning, security, customer services, car park cleaning& security.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  •  Managing the process of change through this exciting development.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicating effectively with Centre Management Team
  • Supervision and Management of Supervisors
  • Representing Westgrove at SLA meetings
  • Duty Management responsibilities
  • Any other reasonable Management request

As a Soft Service Manager you will need:

  • Experience of managing large teams of varied functionality
  • Flexibility in working around the needs of the centre.
  • Change leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to establish credibility quickly
  • Outstanding motivational and people management skills.
  • True leadership skills necessary to achieve ambitious targets
  • A flexible approach and a sense of teamwork
  • SIA licensed
  • Previous experience working for a company in the retail / hospitality sector is desirable
