To apply for the role candidates need to have experience in the construction industry ideally linked to specifiers or similar. You need to demonstrate experience of developing specifications, ideally drainage products/systems or similar to architects, clients, engineers, local authorities etc. You need to be self-motivated and enjoy generating new business with a range of clients.
The role is home based covering North Midlands to Scotland, you’ll be expected to travel where necessary to fulfil the job requirements (more so when Covid restrictions are lifted). You will build relationships with specifiers who are involved in the project to develop awareness of new and existing products. You’ll be confident in your role to understand the client’s needs and advise the most suited products. You’ll maintain a close relationship with internal teams such as sales and design. Reporting to the Head of Specifications, the role sits in a team of 7 with a mix of Specification and BDM’s.

The Role in Brief:
*Assist the team in hitting sales targets within the drainage part of the business
*Liaise and build relationships with architects, engineers etc
*Identify specifying businesses and build relationships at all levels
*Manage the CRM
*Work closely with internal teams
