Belcan Workforce Solutions are seeking a Wing Build Support Engineer on a 12-month contract to join our client's Wing Plant Engineering Team based on-site in Broughton.
This is your opportunity to support the Single Aisle and Widebody Wing Equipping Component Delivery Teams.
The successful applicant will be part of a fast-moving team who deliver high quality Build Support to meet the needs of the Plant. This position is Inside IR35 and is offering £44 per hour Umbrella.
The Role
The team's function is to provide reactive and proactive engineering support to the CDTs to ensure the achievement of their business objectives. As the Wing Build Support Engineer, you will act as the link between Engineering and Manufacturing, ensuring co-design solutions which are suitable for the industrial system whilst maintaining an engineering and most important customer perspective
You will also support the design definition and communicate the industrial requirements into the wider engineering community.
You will be tasked with providing proactive product improvement which supports modifications to reduce Recurring Costs, Non-Recurring Costs and Non-Conformances throughout the SA & WB value stream.
Provide line-side build support and act as the focal point for any Engineering topics within the Wing Plant CDTs including root cause analysis investigations into all abnormalities arising from design queries.
Required Experience
To succeed in this position, you will need a strong engineering background along with aerospace experience. You must also have structures design experience and CATIA V5 knowledge.
