Workshop Manager position available in a well established company. This role will suit someone looking for an autonomous role in a family run business.

To apply for the Workshop Manager you need experience managing a small production process/workshop. The company manufactures high quality and often unique decorative metal products. You need to have experience in estimation, responding to tenders and dealing directly with clients. 

You will be responsible for overseeing a small team to ensure products are manufactured on time and to order.  This will involve contact with the clients to understand and help define the brief. You will also provide quotations, schedule work, determine materials and ensure staff are meeting required quality and efficiency standards.

This role will suit someone looking to be a key part in a successful long-standing company where you manage the workshop and all orders from enquiry to delivery. 

The Workshop Manager Role in Brief:

·         Experience over seeing a small bespoke manufacturing process

·         Estimating and quoting work

·         Customer liaison

·         Stock control

·         Oversee the manufacturing processes to ensure product meets specification on time and within budget

·         Manage a core team of 3. 
 

The Workshop Manager Person Required:

·         Experience managing a small production/workshop

·         Experience reading drawings

·         Can estimate and produce quotations

·         Excellent customer facing skills
