Buyer - Brazilian Speaking

Advancing People - Multilingual Recruitment Specialists are recruiting a Brazilian or Portuguese speaking Buyer for their client based in Colchester, Essex.

Our client are a global procurement specialist who supply OEM and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) spare parts worldwide to a number of different industries.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Source and procure products and materials from Brazilian-speaking suppliers, ensuring the best balance of cost, quality and service.
* Manage supplier documentation, contracts and purchasing records accurately.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers across South American and beyond
* Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms and delivery schedules to maximise value for the business.
* Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders to ensure uninterrupted supply.
* Track supplier performance, resolving any issues relating to quality, delivery or availability.
* Identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities to improve product range and reduce costs.

Person Specification:

* Fluent in Brazilian or Portuguese
* Previous experience in a Purchasing, Buying, Procurement or Supply Chain role.
* Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and secure competitive pricing.
* Experience managing supplier relationships and resolving supply chain issues.
* Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrable / Proven ability of forming and maintaining successful supplier relationships

This is a full time permanent position offering an annual basic salary of £40,000 - £45,000 + attractive company benefits
