About the Company
Due to continued growth within its Electrical Division, our client is creating two brand-new Electrical Project Manager positions to support an expanding portfolio of operational maintenance and capital projects.
This is an opportunity to join an established engineering business delivering electrical works across operational maintenance, remedial programmes, lifecycle replacements and CAPEX schemes.
The Role
You'll take ownership of an annual project portfolio worth £1.5m+, managing multiple electrical projects from enquiry and handover through to final completion.
Working across the Midlands or South-East region from the Mansfield office, you'll be responsible for delivering projects safely, commercially and to programme whilst building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal engineering teams.
Responsibilities
* Deliver a portfolio of electrical projects valued at £1.5m+ annually
* Manage projects from enquiry through to completion and handover
* Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and client stakeholders
* Deliver PPM, remedial, lifecycle replacement and CAPEX works
* Control project costs, margins, programmes and commercial performance
* Identify variations, change control opportunities and compensation events
* Lead client progress meetings and provide regular project reporting
* Ensure compliance with SHEQ procedures, RAMS, permits and site documentation
* Drive quality, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
* Support technical problem-solving throughout project delivery
Ideal Candidate
You'll have experience delivering electrical projects and be confident managing multiple stakeholders while maintaining programme, commercial performance and safety standards.
Essential
* Recognised Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship, HNC/HND or Degree)
* 3-5+ years' experience delivering electrical projects
* Strong understanding of electrical installations and project delivery
* Experience managing labour, subcontractors and suppliers
* Commercial awareness including cost control and variations
* Excellent client-facing communication skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
* Water, utilities or industrial infrastructure experience
* CAPEX project delivery
* NEC3 / NEC4 contracts
* LV/HV systems
* MEICA experience
* 18th Edition or Inspection & Testing
