HGV Class 1 Driver – Container Work (Day Shifts)
Pay: £16.50 ph
Location: Peterborough
Hours: Flexible start times AM
Schedule: Monday to Friday (weekends optional)
Type: Temp-to-perm
Role Overview
Drive Class 1 vehicles on container runs for a respected logistics client near Peterborough. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent hours, competitive pay, and the potential to go permanent.
Key Duties
- Daily container deliveries
- Safe and efficient Class 1 driving
- Coordinating with dispatch teams
- Maintaining delivery schedules and safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class 1 licence (Cat C+E)
- Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 1 driving experience
- CPC and Digi-Tacho cards
- Professional attitude and punctuality
- Flexibility with start times and shift lengths
