Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lift Supervisor / Slinger Signaller for a project in Fareham, Hampshire.

The role will involve supervising and coordinating lifting operations for the safe and efficient removal of plant and pipework from site plantrooms. The successful candidate must also be competent and qualified to carry out Slinger Signaller duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate lifting operations on site
*

Ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely and in accordance with the approved lift plan
*

Carry out Slinger Signaller duties when required
*

Direct and guide crane operators during lifting operations
*

Ensure the safe movement and removal of plant and pipework
*

Conduct pre-use checks on lifting equipment and accessories
*

Ensure exclusion zones and safe working areas are maintained
*

Communicate effectively with crane operators and all personnel involved in lifting activities
*

Monitor lifting operations and stop works if unsafe conditions arise
*

Adhere to all site health and safety procedures
*

Maintain a clear, safe and organised working area

Requirements

*

Valid Lift Supervisor certification (CPCS or NPORS)
*

Valid Slinger Signaller certification (CPCS or NPORS)
*

Previous experience supervising lifting operations on construction or M&E projects
*

Experience with plant and pipework removal would be advantageous
*

Strong understanding of lifting procedures, lift plans and site safety requirements
