Mechanical Estimator - Lincolnshire
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 (DOE)
Location: Lincolnshire (with national project reach)
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

On behalf of my client, a well-established M&E contractor with nationwide capabilities, I'm recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their pre-construction team. This is a key role within a business known for delivering tailored design and build services across a wide range of commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates for mechanical packages ranging from £100k to £15m
*

Support the pricing of both design & build and pre-designed projects
*

Produce basic concept layouts to aid with initial pricing
*

Manage multiple schemes simultaneously across varied timeframes
*

Attend post-tender interviews and contribute to budget presentations
*

Liaise with internal teams to support the front-end delivery process

Key Requirements:

*

Proven experience estimating mechanical works in the commercial sector
*

Design awareness - able to produce concept designs for costing purposes
*

Strong IT skills; experience using estimating software preferred
*

Comfortable working across multiple tenders concurrently
*

Strong communication and client-facing skills
*

Based in or near Lincolnshire, with flexibility to support nationwide projects
