Mana Education are working with a highly regarded specialist education provider seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN / SEMH Teacher to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about supporting young people who may have experienced barriers to learning and require a more personalised and nurturing educational environment.
The role offers the opportunity to move into a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
👩🏫 The Role
You will be teaching small classes of pupils with a range of additional needs, including:
✅ Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
✅ Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
✅ ADHD
✅ Behavioural challenges
✅ Communication and interaction needs
✅ Pupils requiring alternative educational provision
The successful candidate will create engaging lessons, build positive relationships and help pupils develop both academically and personally.

✨ Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
✨ Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs
✨ Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
✨ Create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
✨ Monitor and assess pupil progress
✨ Work collaboratively with support staff, parents and external agencies
✨ Encourage confidence, resilience and personal development

✅ The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
✔️ QTS / equivalent recognised teaching qualification OR relevant experience in UK schools
✔️ Experience working with SEN, SEMH or challenging behaviour (desirable)
✔️ Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
✔️ Ability to build positive and professional relationships with pupils
✔️ A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
✔️ Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
