Electrician needed in Suffolk

Location: Sizewell, Suffolk - IP16 4EW
Duration: Initial 3-week contract with potential for longer-term work and permanent opportunities
Start Date: Week commencing 1st June
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 18:00
Overtime: May be available depending on project requirements

Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to support ongoing works at the Sizewell site. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and qualified individual to join a growing team, with the possibility of extended work and future permanent employment.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Carrying out electrical certification works
* Installing plugs and isolators
* Connecting and terminating cables
* Supporting general electrical installation activities on site
* Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with site regulations and industry standards

Requirements

* Qualified Electrician with relevant certifications
* Previous industrial or construction site experience preferred
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* ECS / Gold Card
* Experience working on infrastructure or energy sector projects advantageous

Site Access & Security Clearance

* There is a mandatory vetting process for access to the Sizewell site, which can take approximately 6 weeks.
* Due to the required start date (w/c 1st June), preference will be given to candidates who already hold current site clearance or have previously worked on site.
* Longer term, we are open to putting suitable candidates through the vetting process with a view to permanent employment.

Parking & Access

* Van access available on site
* Vehicles must display Chapter 8 stickers/compliance markings

The hourly rate on offer for this role is £30.00PH - paid weekly CIS
