The Role

We're working with a well-established M&E contractor delivering commercial and industrial design & build projects, including high-profile work within the film and TV sector.

Due to continued growth, they're looking to bring in an electrically biased M&E Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to support both pre-construction and live project delivery.

This is a hands-on commercial role covering tendering, cost planning, and full project lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and price M&E tenders across pre-designed and D&B projects
* Analyse drawings, specs, and scope to produce accurate take-offs
* Manage costs from tender through to final account
* Monitor project budgets, valuations, and variations
* Procure subcontractors and manage commercial risk
* Support project teams through tender and delivery stages
* Produce cost reports and maintain commercial data
* Attend client meetings, site visits, and tender reviews

Requirements

* Experience in a Quantity Surveyor / Assistant QS / Estimator role
* Strong understanding of M&E (Electrical bias preferred)
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Commercial awareness across tendering and project delivery
* Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
* Full UK driving licence

Desirable

* HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying (or similar)
* Electrical background (NVQ Level 3 / C&G 2357)
* Experience across Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health projects
